Travel grant Young NeurolabNL
Young NeurolabNL is a community for early career researchers (PhD candidates, postdocs, assistant professors) in the field of brain, cognition and behavior in the Netherlands. It represents a broad and interdisciplinary field that includes, among others, psychologists, health professionals, biologists, neuroscientists, computer scientists. Our mission is to facilitate interdisciplinary research as well as efficient exchange of knowledge and scientific methods, while promoting visibility of key findings and publications among community members.
The Young NeurolabNL travel grant is an initiative to co-fund early career researchers in academic networking trips. The grant is intended to be used in academic activities that involve traveling, including conference presentations/attendance, scholar visits, secondments, exchange and networking.
Last year, we awarded travel grants to eight early career scholars. Among them was Amy De Roubaix from Radboud UMC, who presented her work and won the best poster award at the 10th World Congress on ADHD held in Prague in May 2025. She also used this opportunity to extend her professional network. In the current travel grant call call, we encourage you to connect with a societal partner to increase the societal impact of your work.
